Meet Gabriel Gutierrez

Over 25 years ago, I started my part-time window cleaning company, Gabe’s Spotless Window Cleaning in Tucson, AZ. What began as a temporary solution to make ends meet blossomed into a deeply fulfilling career, offering not just financial independence but also the immense satisfaction of being able to serve my community through honest, high-quality work.

I began cleaning windows before YouTube tutorials, before Facebook groups, and before small business networking had a reach beyond our local market. When I started my company, I had a total of 2 hours of training from the friend who sold me my first commercial route. Sufficed to say, my abilities were lacking. However, like many before me, I stuck it out and slowly learned to perfect my craft.

Because I am an analytical thinker, I took my skill set seriously. I was not satisfied with just getting by. When I made the same mistake over and over again, I needed to figure out what caused it. When I got frustrated with a challenging window that slowed me down, I needed to learn the best way to overcome it. I wasn’t content with just being a good window cleaner. I needed to be efficient, professional, and consistent. This can only be accomplished by an understanding of the fundamentals of window cleaning.

Now, instead of the problem being a lack of resources, the issue is an oversaturation of advice, business coaching, and marketing advisors that make it extremely difficult to know where to go to get guidance that you can trust. Too many window cleaning “gurus” focus on marketing but neglect the most important part of any successful business: the delivery of a quality product.
